New York State Department of Health has issued a request for proposals for entities desiring to contract with New York State as the “single fiscal intermediary” to oversee the entire consumer direct program. Once the single fiscal intermediary is selected, the only other way of providing FI services in New York would be through a subcontract, but those subcontract opportunities are limited to entities that have been providing FI services as of January 1, 2012 or centers for independent living.
While there are significant questions about whether current FIs should submit an application pursuant to this RFO, this webinar will go through the application contents in detail to review what we have been able to glean about the State’s intention for this program and this significant change to CDPAP.
